Also you don’t seem to focus much on the guys and he only cares about the guys so WAIT OOPS DID I SAY THAT.
Hahaha, yeah. I mean, the main storylines are Tina, Rachel/Quinn, and Brittany/Santana/Mercedes, with Sue meddling throughout. The guys are definitely there, but peripheral, and I was adamant on having none of them acting like assholes. And if anyone complains to me that there needs to be a guy storyline to balance it out, I will guarantee them that never has RIB been like, “Y’know, we need to include the girls because this episode is just too guy-heavy!” But at the same time it’s a feminist episode really in construction only, because the themes and message are pretty universal. I didn’t want Madonna 2.0.

Awesome song choice for Quinn and Rachel. Now I want them to sing it on the show.
Ahh, thank you! I’m rather proud of that one because I think the lyrics are so fitting and in general it would suit Lea and Dianna’s voices rather nicely. But alas, they’ll probably never actually sing it. Eternal tears.

Those song choices are actually making me angry. Because they are so rad and they will never, ever happen. I mean, L. Boogie! How can that not happen?
I knoooow. I want Girl Rap SO BADLY, especially after Heather’s turn in Ain’t Nuthin’ But a Glee Thang. Plus, isn’t Naya’s voice just BUILT for the chorus? I mean, c’mon.
I fear writing this episode may have been both cathartic and frustrating all at the same time. DAMN YOU, GLEE.
